The Blast and It’s Effects
What an unfortunate event, yesterday’s blast. First off, I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to the family of the casualties, most especially to the family of my student Janine Marcos.
Janine Marcos was one of the first names that was announced as deaths in the recent blast that took the lives of 9 people. Had it been just an accident, it would have been easier to accept. But as investigation progresses, it looks like it’s turning into a terrorist attack. Although some conspiracy theories are coming out saying that this is another ploy of the administration. Either way, who ever did this should be punished, if not, these people will suffer the full wrath that the Lord will bring upon them.
The mutineer Antonio Trillanes for his part made his contribution to the story by lashing out and blaming the administration for this recent tragedy. How can this person grandstand in the middle of the sorrow of the victim’s family. And up til now, I’m still wondering how the people that voted for him feel.
I grieve with Janine’s family and her friends. Up until now, I can’t take my mind of the thought, how her family suffered yesterday as they kept on hearing Janine’s name on the media, but can’t get definite information on the truth of the reports, as they can’t find Janine’s body in any of the hospitals concerned with the rescue. It wasn’t until around 8pm last night that they found her in a small funeral parlor somewhere in Pasay city, her name was mentioned on TV at around 2pm.
During the waiting hours of pain, the students, her classmates, her friends, the staff and faculty of Remedios T. Romualdez Memorial Schools, together with her family, were all in limbo as to where Janine was at that time. We were all holding on to false hopes as long as her body has yet to be found. Each and everyone that knew Janine’s number tried but failed to reach her on her phone.
I would like to mention too, that the classmate and friend that Janine was with 30 seconds before that explosion was Iris Llorca, that Iris is having a hard time, up to this moment, to comprehend what had happened to Janine. That Iris is blaming herself for the incident.
Let us all pray for Janine’s soul that she died not in vain and that she did not suffer during those times. We will miss you Janine.

I offer my sincerest sympathies to the family of Janine Marcos. They have my prayers.
As for what Trillanes is saying. I never trusted him. I never will. Nobody should.
